It was raining for most of the time in Ubud. When the night came, the weather quickly get cold. So, it is only normal when we were looking for a bowl of ramen to warm up ourselves. And that is where we found Kazumi Ramen at Gautama Street.
But alas, when we arrived, Kazumi Ramen was fully booked. There are not many tables in Kazumi Ramen, just another small ramen place with great reputation. We decided to wait anyway. First, it was cold, and second, a fully booked place can’t be bad, right?

Thankfully we don’t need to wait very long. Once seated, we ordered two Tonkotsu Ramen, Chicken Yakitori and a plate of Gyoza for dinner. While waiting, we were served with prawn crackers.

The Gyoza was served in a round pan-shaped, connected lie web between the pieces. Someone told me that one of measure of ramen place is the Gyoza. From the look, Gyoza at Kazumi Ramen definitely tick the box. We loved the thin skin, and the meat is moist enough.

Next come the Tonkotsu Ramen, served with perfectly boiled egg. As we sip the soup, the warmth of the broth radiates within our body. The broth is sufficiently thick. We sprinkled just a little chili oil for spiciness, being very careful not o ruin the broth.

After the appetizing Gyoza and the warm Tonkotsu Ramen, what about the Yakitori? We still very much enjoy the Yakitori Skewer. it is not too dry and marinated just perfect to taste.
After the meal, we walked happily to our car. Ubud’s weather was still cold that night, with light drizzle. But the Tonkotsu broth gave us enough warmth to enjoy the cold Ubud night.
