There aren’t any shortage of western food restaurant in Bali, including Italian Restaurant. But there are only a few that worth mentioning, and even less that stay in the business for more than few years. Fabrica Canggu is the one that is worth mentioning, and one that I wished to stay in business.
Fabrica is set up near Echo Beach, famous for surfer. They can be quiet during the day, where the weather is hot. But every night when we passed Fabrica, there is always line up of motorcycle and people having some good time. We came in during lunch, with only 1-2 other guest with us.
After regular temperature check, we scan through the menu. We decided to order 3 dishes: Burrata, Hawaian Pizza and Ravioli. There are no bread served during the waiting, so we are so much ready to eat when the food come. I will let the picture below to ignite your taste for Italian food.
Burrata, served with Cherry Tomato and Rucola 
Burrata is Italian cheese, with firm cheese outside, and creamy cheese inside 
Panzerotti, resembles a Calzone. Main difference is that Panzerotti is deep-fried, not baked 
The gut of Panzerotti Cotto, with Prosciutto, Mozarella and Tomato Sauce 
Raviolli Ricotta E Spinach. Ravioli stuffed with spinach and ricotta cheese, served with butter and sage sauce 
French Fries…. well a French Fries 
Strawberry Gelato. Texture is more like sorbet
