I know this place as Ixora (@ixoracakesbali). With the Instagram post of Ixora is all about cakes, I would expect to find cake shop that hopefully serve something to eat for brunch time. It turns out that, Ixora is the cake shop on the 2nd floor. The first floor is used by Delicioso, a restaurant that feel like you are in a cake shop.
I was sitting and going through the menu, thinking of ordering coffee. I wasn’t feeling well that day, so I think a cup of strong coffee would boost my day. But something catch my attention on the non-coffee drink section. A drink called “Flu Fighter”. It has lemon, ginger, honey and cayenne pepper mixed together, just like a traditional anti-flu drink from home. It does taste strong enough to make me instantly feel warm and better.
As for food, most of the item in Delicioso’s menu is filled with breakfast and brunch type of food. I came here just right, I thought, and ordered Avocado Toast. The description in the menu with egg, feta cheese and avocado served on top of sourdough is just something that I feel like eating.
After finishing with the food, I explored the pastry bar in the corner. I was thinking to get something for take away or dessert. The collection of pastry was good, and also the pretzel. There were also cookie jars next to the pastry, which is also appetizing.
