The world has slowly recovering from COVID pandemic, and so does Bali. Hotel price has also slowly coming back to the pre-pandemic price. Thankfully, we were able to steal a promotional price at Komaneka Rasa Sayang, Ubud. We have always been wanting to stay in Komaneka, and we were happy for the chance.
The Room
With different area for sleeping and watching TV, the room is comfortable for those who are planning to just stay at the hotel.
To add to the entertainment, there is Apple TV available to be used. Of course, you need to have an Apple account to be able to use it. The TV however is rather small for such a spacious room. It is OK to watch from the sofa, but not OK to watch from the bed.
Going into the bathroom, there is a bath tub ready to relax the weary muscle after long day in Ubud. The privacy screen is a bit tricky to close, so make sure that you check it well before dipping in the tub.
There is also daily turn down service to set the room for the night, and a fruit basket available and replenished as necessary. We also have a cookie jar in our room, but not in our friend’s room.
Breakfast
Breakfast was served at the restaurant on the upper deck of the pool. On our first few days of stay, we were asked to select from breakfast set from the menu. However, on the last day, the bread and fruit was offered as buffet.
Around Komaneka Rasa Sayang Ubud
Located at Monkey Forest road near the soccer field, Ubud Palace and the market is just a walking distance away. Other area is within short driving distance with motorcycle or taxi. Here is few to get you started:
- Lunch at Cerita Manisan at Jalan Hanoman. Review coming soon
- Playing with well groomed cat at Cat Cafe at Jalan Pengosekan.
- Evening coffee at Wyah Ubud. IT is a reative space with a sci-fi design located at the slope of Ubud hill
- Dinner at Kazumi Ramen at Jalan Gautama. Good for some warmth when the night is cold
Final Words
Parking space for car is a bit limited. But don’t worry. Just leave the key to the staff and they will take care of your car.
As prices return to normal, the full price of Komaneka Rasa Sayang Ubud is probably out of our price range. We are glad to have the chance to stay here with still somehow pandemic price, with the location that is so central and with the service of the staff, who also remember the name of our son.
