Lunch at Nasi Tahu Ni Sarti, Gianyar

Posted on January 23, 2026January 11, 2026 By Benny

Do you know that Nasi Tahu Ni Sarti has been in business since 1963, only with 1 menu? Nasi Tahu Ni Sarti only sell Nasi Tahu. That is rice, served with tofu, tofu cracker, and urap. On top of it is sweet umami soya sauce and fried shallot. If you like spicy food, you are free to choose from various Balinese sambal.

Nasi Tahu Ni Sarti

To go to Nasi Tahu Ni Sarti, you can follow direction from Google Map. Once you reach the market at Jalan Lettu Wayan Sutha 1, be prepared to park your vehicle. This is because Ni Sarti don’t have a parking space. In fact, the entrance to Nasi Tahu Ni Sarti is easy to miss. It is just a small Balinese double door leading to the vast courtyard. Look below to find the marking of Nasi Tahu Ni Sarti

Once you make your order, you can wait at the pavilion in the middle. There are not much to choose though. First time visitor will probably spent time to take picture, look around on how vast the estate are, or just have a chat. There are a couple of houses surrounding the pavilion. I suspect, for the family that own this estate.

We came back for the second time this year, a testament on how much we enjoy Nasi Tahu Ni Sarti. The tofu is fresh, and mix well with the soy sauce. The chili on top seal the taste and freshen up the entire dishes. And the crackers add to overall texture of otherwise soft food.

Are we coming back for the third time? If time permit, we will for sure. Of course while trying another tasty food of Giayar area.
