What make us willing to go through the traffic jam from Sunset Road to Kerobokan? When we were in Bali, the police was running a trial of new traffic routing. This caused a super bad traffic jam around Seminyak-Kerobokan. So, we were stuck in the traffic for fried fish at RM Aryani.
It doesn’t took us long to go through the menu. We were hungry after the traffic jam. So we just went for their specialty: the fried fish. There are many kind of fish to choose from. I picked my favorite, Ikan Bawal (Pomfret). We also ordered Kerapu (Grouper), some vegetables, and slices of raw tuna. Portion is small and personal, so don’t worry that you are ordering too much.

What makes RM Aryani so special is, they manage to fry the fish that so crunchy in the outside, but remain soft inside. Combine that with hot rice and your choice of sambal matah, dabu dabu, or kecombrang. Guaranteed you will order a second plate before you finish your first

Accompanying the fried fish are cloves of garlic. They serve to refresh your taste bud in between each bite. Also worth to try is vegetables that goes well with the fish.
Some times, when we are in Bali, with so many international food, we sought after local food like RM Aryani. When we are back maybe, and when the traffic gets better, we will come back to enjoy the fish. Some other day, it might be better to just order take away from Grab.
