I frequently passed Bakmi Lung Kee at Hampton Promenade, Gading Serpong. It is located conveniently near my church, and its bright yellow-red color large signage is hard to miss.

So, on a Sunday morning after church mass, I made up my mind to stop by for breakfast. The indoor seating was full, so I grabbed a table outside. Thankfully, the morning air was still crisp and cool.
It didn’t take long to decide what to eat. In order to taste everything, I ordered the mixed noodle bowl. This is the one that comes loaded with both chicken and three distinct types of pork

Yes, you read that right. When my bowl arrived, it was loaded with toppings. First, there are large, irregular chunks of crispy roasted pork ( samcan ) that offer an incredible crunch
Next to the samcan is a generous pile of finely seasoned minced pork, adding depth to every bite. Dark, glossy slices of sweet char siu pork are arranged on the other side, adding a wonderful caramelized sweetness
To finish off this protein loaded feast, a helping of tender, pale minced chicken is added on top. All of this sits neatly in the bowl, garnished simply with a fresh green vegetable leaf and a side of light broth
All in all, with this unique combination of three kinds of pork and minced chicken, Bakmi Lung Kee is a worthy stop amidst the tight bakmi competition in Gading Serpong, such as Bakmi Oukie
