Our Experience at Bakmi Oukie Sudirman Gading Serpong

Posted on September 25, 2026September 20, 2026 By Benny

The name Bakmi Oukie sounds familiar. It is a famous noodle house from Pontianak, Kalimantan, with several branches across Jakarta.

When a new Bakmi Oukie Sudirman recently opened, a natural question arose. Are they even related at all?

Inside Bakmi Oukie Sudirman

That morning, we decided to give Bakmi Oukie Sudirman a try. Its location is at Ruko Aniva, the bustling culinary road of Gading Serpong.

It sits right on the corner, just a short walk from HOH Kopitiam.

We ordered one bowl of Bakmi Yam each. Make sure you avoid making the wrong order, not the Bakmi Kuah.

Bakmi Yam is served with the soup in a separate bowl. This preserves all the rich oil and spices directly on the noodles.

The dish comes generously topped with savory chopped chicken, tiny fried wonton strips for crunch, fishcake slices, and fresh green onions. A cluster of tender meatballs and a large, golden-brown fried wonton crown the bowl.

The thin noodles taste just like we remember. They are cooked al dente, never too soft, and cleanly separated from each other.

We also ordered Pangsit Kuah (boiled wontons) and Bakso Goreng (fried meatballs).

The fried meatballs tasted okay, but I prefer something much crunchier. The boiled wontons also missed my personal expectations.

Is Bakmi Oukie Sudirman live up to the expectations of Bakmi Oukie?

In Gading Serpong, it is notoriously hard to find a decent bowl of Bakmi Kepiting.

So yes, this spot definitely delivers on what we hoped for!
