Cleverly making use of hilly terrain of North Ubud, Wyah Ubud offer a unique shaped semi indoor and outdoor space made from wood. Wyah Ubud dubbed itself as art and creative space, where patrons will sit in the middle of the Ubud forest, exploring their creative side. It definitely fit into the creative soul of Ubud.
The Space
Wyah Ubud is shaped in a unique wooden shape that according to some, resemble a bee hives. For me, it is more like smaller scale of Star Wars planetary base, with entrance splits the top and bottom part. This is where the semi-outdoor space for people to sit while looking to the forest of North Ubud.

Sitting at the edge of the table is actually pretty nice. On one side, the view is overlooking green forest, with the sound of river flowing beneath. The rain adds to the serenity of the place. Unfortunately when the rain pour quite heavily, the rainwater splash onto the table on the edge.

The Food and Coffee
We came here with full stomach, so we are looking for nice coffee (and snacks) just to close the evening. My optimal choice would be a Cafe Latte. But I have tried the Latte before at Ubud Food Festival. Coffee is OK, but I feel the milk to be less creamy and body.

We opted out instead for a more creative drink that Wyah has to offer. Indeed, Wyah proof itself as creative space by having 28 pages of food and drink menu. The one that we ordered, called Claudya, is mind-blowing. It is like a cloud slowly dripping like rain into the coffee cup.

We were very happy with Wyah Ubud. When I talked to Wyah crew at Ubud Food Festival, we exchanged Instagram, and I was mesmerized with the place. We didn’t try the food, only the snacks that is OK, and drinks that is super creative. I wish to be back here, probably doing something creative (like writing or drawing), or maybe just to sit here and be lost in nature
Wyah Ubud opens 6:30 AM until 7 PM everyday. Follow their instagram @wyah.ubud for update.
